The Mountain View family isn’t stuffy or formal, so even jeans and a polo shirt are cool. Business casual is more than fine – a dress or suit and tie is not necessary! Mountain View is definitely not a church where anyone will look down on you if you’re not dressed up! Please do, come as you are.

A great question! We have two parking lots so please use the front one because it is a much better choice. There are steps facing Mountain View Road and the school that will take you directly into the sanctuary where we meet each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. If you need a more gradual or handicapped entrance, look for the ramp that is on the south side of the sanctuary, near our historic cemetery.

Mountain View loves kids so please bring them along! For the little ones two years and under, a nursery is available throughout the worship service. From age 3 – 8 years, our children’s church volunteers will teach a Bible lesson and play with your tykes, inviting them to head out before the offering. All volunteers have had special training through Ministry Safe and complete criminal background checks. For an added layer of safety, only the doors directly to the sanctuary remain unlocked after 10:30.

Our liturgy is historically and unapologetically Methodist allowing us to be true to our roots while welcoming the Holy Spirit’s uplifting presence each Sunday as we gather! There will be lots of singing, a pastoral prayer, scripture readings, our choir sings and an inspiriting message by Pastor Laura. Our worship services last about 60-70 minutes.

There are a big variety of ministries offered by Mountain View and we would welcome any visitor to attend anything piques your interest from Mahjong to Methodist Men or Women! Sunday Dinner with a Twist is an outreach that feeds those with food insecurity each week and, of course, there are studies and Sunday School like you have come expect from a growing church that loves Jesus!
